The lamps are great but...

I have to say, the lamps are extremely nice, as promised and as reviewed, however... The low cost of the lamps is offset by the fact the shipping was almost as much as the lamps themselves, thereby offsetting any value. The shipping of the lamps was $18.99 for us, with no explanation as to why it was so high, especially when the store fronts website states it would be lower. Don't know I'll ever order from this company again.

Not quite a natural shape on one of my lamps

First of all the packaging for my two lamps was good. I'm giving 3 stars because one side of one of the lamps was cut straight/flat and smooth instead of having a natural formation/shape. I didn't like this so I placed the lamp on a table that is next to the wall in my living room. That way the flat side of the lamp faces the wall. I didn't send it back because of the added cost of shipping it would incur. The other lamp was ok. So you will be taking a chance on getting a flat sided lamp if you want to order these.

These salt lamps added a soothing glow into my bedroom at night! They also help me to unwind... and i've even found they make a good small reading lamp. Also, the price for two lamps could not have been beat! Enjoy:)

First the product is excellent! Good size, good looking, and has made a noticeable difference in air quality in just two days! Second, shipping was very fast! I suspect they are pre-boxed and ready to go out the door. The internal boxes did look imported, but the product did not suffered for low quality card board boxes, the outer box was sturdy, and stuffing was more than adequate to prevent jostling. Overall, one of the better shopping experiences of the year!

Oh, this is such a neat set! My mother in law ordered these for my daughter as "practical keepsakes". The quality is great, pop them in the dishwasher to clean, the weight is a perfect "heft", and the looped handles really are easy for baby to hold! Great baby shower gift----practical, unique and attractive!

This set is simply amazing. I love to just look at the pieces! Looks far better than traditional sterling silver pieces without the maintenance. It's polished to a smooth luster which retains with every wash and continues to look like I just took it out of the box. It comes with a grey storage cloth pouch sectioned for each piece and a metal name plate attached to it so you can engrave the baby's details. This set makes an excellent gift. Look forward to purchasing again for other expecting mothers!

Classic Form and Function.

Still have the double set of these we purchased over 25 years ago. Pristine condition. Elegant and not lightweight. Nice balance and weight to the stem. They are very "ergonomic". Gave a set to our daughter on her 21st birthday. Classic lines. Great feel. Form and Function. Designed in the 50's and in the permanent collection at MOMA. Great all around cocktail glasses, though they shine with a martini.

Iittala Aarne Cocktail - A sophisticated delight!

This is THE CLASSIC sophisticated cocktail glass. The Aarne glass has been copied often in concept but the results are, well, copies. We have used our glasses for several months now and although the glass is elegantly thin, it is very durable. The glasses even work well being in the freezer for a few hours so that when the Martinis or Manhattens are poured, they hold their desirable chill for a longer time in the beauty of frosted glass. Iittala also provides superior design in their durable packaging.

Excellent, even though some of the material is edited

The 3rd season of In Living Color is just as great as all the other seasons. In some of these seasons, yes, some sketches and dance sequences have been either omitted and/or edited down, but that doesn't mean that this show is not worth watching anymore. It is still enjoyable to me, and I don't complain about whatever has been taken out or edited. To those people who have complained about the editing and omissions of certain sketches, STOP GRIPING!!!! Don't let the fact of the editing or omissions prevent you from enjoying all seasons on DVD. Complaining excessively is not going to get Fox to put back what was taken out or edited. Until the editing and omission issue has been resolved (whenever that may be), just deal with the episodes that we've got and have a few laughs with this show. Life is too short to be pining about what has been left out or narrowed down. For all seasons: My grade is a strong A. For your information, Comedy Central is showing In Living Color starting this fall. Just tape the episodes you want that contain whatever the DVDs don't have and burn them onto blank DVDs, if you like, but don't complain the editing and omissions subject to death. The show is here on DVD, ladies and gentlemen, so enjoy it in the meantime.

If you enjoyed the show, then there's not much to say here. It's exactly what you remembered and just the continuation of the shows on DVD. I have the five seasons now, and watch them often. This one in particular is just as funny as the others. A Must-Have.

Too many skits are missing...

Since this is not a complete set, I'm going to send it back to Fox. It's a sad, sad situation when skits that made the show famous are removed. There is at least one skit missing per episode and now I'm afraid they will be lost forever. One of my favorites of all time is gone - "Chrystal Waters".

My husband and I have purchased four out of the five seasons but we didn't know until later that many of our favorite skits are missing! The one that we miss the most is the parody of Michael Jackson's Black Or White, "Tell Me If I'm Black Or White". What a disappointment. We won't be purchasing the fifth season.

It's Claus, what more do you need to know?

I've loved Claus forever and was not aware of this release. I was working on my computer, and Claus popped into my head. When I got home, I pulled out my guitar, arranged for patio amplification, and cued up Gate of Dreams on my outdoor sound system. I then attempted to solo over Claus's astounding arrangements. Of course it is very difficult as you would expect with the fabulous and innovative chord progressions utilized by this maestro. But I took my best shot, hit some lucky licks here and there, failed miserably elsewhere, and finished up in awe of this once-in-a-lifetime composer, as usual, even after all these years. Then I was on the computer later and discovered this release. I was amazed and overjoyed at the opportunity to listen to new material, and immediately ordered the album. I ordered the download version because I could not wait, but I will of course also order the CD for the sound quality. There is no artist alive who can have as much of my money as he wants, anytime, anyplace, without reservation or hesitation. While I read the other reviews, I of course could really care less. There are some talents that transcend the judgments of lesser others by virtue of their innate and inalienable brilliance. Claus is one of those very few talents in the music industry. Art Tatum and Sarah Vaughan are 2 others. Babe Ruth in baseball. Ayn Rand in philosophy. Secretariat in horse racing. You get the idea. I downloaded the album and have been listening to it more or less continuously for the past week. While I could effuse and rack my brain trying to craft strings of superlatives to describe the album, I won't bother. It's Claus. You know what you are going to get. It is going to move you and satisfy you. It is going to inspire and confirm, as it always does with Claus. He does things with an orchestra that no one else can, he is an innovator and even his cliches never wear out their welcome as they do with so many others. Bravo and thanks Claus. Keep it coming!!!

An absolutely marvelous album. Rather than all of the comparisons, let me just say this. I've been a big Jazz fan since my mid-teens and this "Cat" rates up there with the best. Very poor cheesy non-jazz, non-modern music

I have to differ with most of reviewers here. I have just bought this CD. I am a pro jazz composer and arranger, and pianist and classical and jazz music educator. Ogerman has been one of my "teachers" (from listening to and analyzing his arrangements and orchestrations) for a long time. I own both the recording of "Symbiosis" and the full score written by Claus. Quite unfortunately, Danilo Perez *is not* Bill Evans (well, no one could actually be) and is to far away from even getting near him. And Ogerman's orchestrations and arrangements are very, very cheesy, excrutiatingly soft, and mostly Xeroxed from lots of his other previous writings. Danilo is a good performer, but...he does not move me a hair!. His playing is so guts-lacking that sometimes you cannot even understand what he is saying. However, the worst in this recording is Cassandra Wilson: She has lost the very little portion of "voice" she somewhat managed to own at some point (many years ago). She is mostly out of tune, with a trembling and insecure voice with poor diction. If you really want to know what a jazz soloist with a Symphony sounds like, get right now "Symphonica", with soloist Joe Lovano (tenor sax) playing his own tunes arranged, orchestrated and conducted by superb Mike Abene, with a jazz big-band within a symphonic orchestra. You can also try Stan Gets and Michel Legrand Orchestra, Clark Terry playing ballads with Peter Herbolzheimer conducting his arrangements and orchestrations for full orchestra. And, finally, get *any* (or yet, better, all of them) Jazz and the Symphony saga by Lalo Schifrin and you have real symphonic music there. Otherwise, I will rather listen to Ravel's symphony concerts, Gershwin's, Rachmaninoff's a thousand times more that "Across the Crystal Sea".

Close Your Eyes And Take A Trip

The first time I heard Across The Crystal Sea, it invoked a feeling of a far-away, distant land, with haunting and sultry rhythms. I continue to play the CD over and over in my car and on my laptop. I highly recommend this album as a great stress reliever or for those moments when you want to turn down the lights and groove with someone.
